Lumi, the global leader in real-time audience and student engagement technology, has released an important new feature for its Meetoo PowerPoint add-in. Every Meetoo user can now insert live polls into their PowerPoints, even during the presentation, and see the results displayed in real-time. The add-in fully integrates with Microsoft PowerPoint and can be downloaded directly from the Microsoft Office store.

This facility sets Meetoo apart from other polling apps on the market, giving users the flexibility to react and respond to developments during their meetings, lectures and presentations.

Downloadable onto any smartphone or accessible via the web, Meetoo offers real-time polling, Q&As and discussions for lectures and meetings. This latest add-in can be used with both Microsoft Windows and Mac OS.

“We’ve developed this PowerPoint add-in feature after requests from our Meetoo customers for a solution that caters for enterprise installations and non-Windows users,” says Richard Taylor, Lumi CEO.  “And because Office store add-ins are web based, it can be installed by everyone, even  Mac users or those with tight security restrictions on installing software on their computers.”

Liam Kelly, Head of Developer Experience at Microsoft UK explains: “With its ease of use and great functionality we could see the potential for Meetoo and are delighted to be able to offer it as an add-in for PowerPoint users.”

Meetoo’s new PowerPoint feature can be used on PowerPoint 2013 or later on Windows or PowerPoint 2016 on Mac OS systems.
